Burning Angel VR review

https://burningangelvr.com/

Bottom Line: Burning Angle VR sounds like a winning formula, but somehow they fumbled the ball with this venture.  I expected more out of one of my favorite porn studios.

Overview

Tattooed vixens are fairly common in mainstream porn these days.  For the most part, these adult stars were neglected until Suicide Girls made the alt-girl brand popular, and Burning Angel was not far behind to pick up the missing hardcore slot.

I love Burning Angel, and not just because I love girls with tattoos.  Their style of filming is distinct, they don’t try to hard or focus on glamorous porn.  These are real girls who really love to fuck.  The whole mood of a Burning Angel film is totally different, which is why I was so excited to write this Burning Angle VR review.

Navigation/Usability

The site is sexy and professional.  You get easy access to video info, download options, and details.  Videos can be searched, sorted, and filtered based on your needs.  There is even an option to choose which POV viewing position that is preferred.

Overall, I found the functionality of Burning Angel VR to be more than adequate.

Quality of Videos

All scenes are filmed in 4k, 3D, 180 degrees, at 60 fps.  Some videos advertise as 220 degrees, but I honestly couldn’t tell, I was focused on the action.

Burning Angel VR has some hot scenes, but I find the POV to be too distant and the format very stiff.  What I mean by that is the male actor doesn’t really attempt to fuck back at the girls, so you’re basically a prop.  This is easy to forgive as a studio’s first foray in VR.

Many of the videos are also in a JOI, or jack off instructional, format, which means you won’t be doing anything but watching girls get off or fuck another dude.

I didn’t care for these because, again, the action was always too far away, I wanted to see those pussy lips part as they took a cock, if I was to be the perv in the room.

Quantity of Content

I don’t know what happened with BA’s VR run, but they’ve pretty much abandoned it for now.  You’re looking at only 20 videos released, with the last video updated back in April of this year.  Average length of each scene is about 20 minutes, as well.

This is really disappointing.  I was really looking forward to see some more alternative babes like Kleo Valentine or Kira Noir in VR action.  There’s only 15 actresses on here, but they do have: Joanna Angel, Abella Danger, Leigh Raven, Nina Elle, Yhivi, Daisy Ducati, and Nikki Hearts.

Most of the video content is surprisingly vanilla.  The action isn’t raw or rough like many Burning Angel videos are—no fisting, spanking, or squirting from what I can tell.

Bonuses and Features

Burning Angel VR does offer a combo subscription offer, but it is really expensive at $179 per year.  It includes Kink VR and HoloGirls VR.  Now, I’ve already reviewed these two in the past, you can read those reviews and determine whether there’s enough content there to make it worth your money.

Price

The monthly subscription is $24.95, while the yearly membership is $71.40.  That’s on the higher end of the VR subscription rate, plus the website is dead, making the value of that annual membership null.

I wouldn’t say paying for one month is a rip off, if you love alternative porn.  The girls are certainly top tier and the action isn’t bad, so I would say try it out.

They accept credit cards or online check.

Burning Angel VR Review Score

Tattoos and piercings will always be hot to me, so this Burning Angel review was a pretty big letdown.  I wanted more of everything: quality, quantity, and value.  Because the last update was only in April, I’m still holding out hope for a return to the VR world for Burning Angel.

Joana Angel is a smart women, she must know the potential for VR is too big to let it pass.  They just need to start shooting more POV scenes and release them on a weekly basis, at least.

What they have to start out isn’t that bad, a little rough around the edges, but that’s fine as long as they stay true to the Burning Angel brand and give the audience a nice show.
